Testimonials
We had an excellent experience with John looking for a new home in Edmonton. He is professional, reliable, prompt, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. He pointed out any negatives if not obvious with some guidance on overcoming them if we were to consider buying that particular home. The paperwork was done in a timely and efficient manner and John was always available to answer questions. We would definately recommend John for your next home needs.

Sarah Dulmage – Realtor
ReMax Real Estate

“The Lady with the Golden Keypad”

Sarah Dulmage

Hi. I’m Sarah Dulmage; a friendly Realtor with ReMax Real Estate and the Knock-Knock.ca real estate team. I’ve been involved in the Edmonton real estate market for more than 5 years; as a home owner, investor, and finally as a Realtor.

When I was asked to write out my own bio for the website, I was tempted to give up my real estate license just to avoid doing this. I HATE doing stuff like this, as I’m sure many of the people reading this can understand. Who wants to talk about themselves?

Here’s a few common questions that people ask me, as well as some general trivia about me. In case you care to read it! If you don’t, you can always email me.

And hey… THANKS FOR READING!!!

Q&A With Sarah Dulmage of ReMax Real Estate (Edmonton)

Q: When were you born?

A: Seriously? You never ask a lady that!!

Q: What hobbies do you have?

A: OK. This is starting to look like a dating site, not a real estate site. Be careful… But sure, I’ll share my hobbies. I like to travel, cook, bike ride with my boyfriend, and I love to watch documentaries on just about anything.

Q: Do you have a favourite saying or quote?

A: Sure. I have 3!

1. “The best way to escape a problem is to solve it.”

2. “Life is 10% how we make it and 90% how we take it.”

3. “Experience is the name we give to our mistakes.”

Q: When you read, what sort of books do you read?

A: I read a lot, but I do have a few favourite books. First is “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. It’s great for a business mind like mine. The second is “The Da Vinci Code”. It’s a great work of fiction, and really was fun to read. Finally, I really enjoy the “Confessions of a Shopaholic” series. No comment.

Q: Do you have a favourite movie?

A: Love Actually.

Hee Hee. That read funny when answering this question!

Q: What sort of music do you listen to when driving in your car?

A: I’m a “child of the 80’s”. I admit that I like the big hair bands and the happy music they pumped out. Is that wrong?

Q: Complete this sentence. “I will retire when…”

A: “…I die. Why stop doing something you love?”

Q: Another completion for you. “I’m addicted to…”

A: “… my Blackberry.” (Just try to take it away from me!)

Q: Do you have any pet peeves?

A: People who park in the “Wheelchair Accessible” stall but shouldn’t be there. They should be shot dead; but that’s just my opinion.

Q: Why did you decide to become a Realtor?

A: It just made sense for me. I’ve been buying, selling, and investing in real estate for so long that I’ve immersed myself in the industry. I’ve analyzed and studies so many properties that I figured “Hey! Why not do it for a living?” So now I do.

Q: Do you have any regrets with becoming a Realtor?

A: Just one. I didn’t do it SOONER!

We’re working with a nice family who are looking for a home in the north side of Edmonton. They are wanting a minimum of 5 bedrooms (3 up, 2 down is OK), a fully developed basement, and a newer home (after 2002 preferred).

This buyer is attracted to homes with stucco exteriors, but this isn’t a deal breaker.
