DND DAY

Have you ever been burnt out? Wiped because you work too hard?

Welcome to being a busy Realtor. We work 10-15 hours a day, 7 days a week. We work nights, weekends, and holidays. Most Realtors are bound to their cell phones and pagers to the point where they’re scared to put their phone down for even an hour. Most Realtors only take 2 or 3 days off PER YEAR! Many agents continue to work, even when they take holidays or are spending time with their families.

Talk about burn out!

An interesting thing happens when a person hits burnout; their productivity drops dramatically and they become far less effective in their job. Creativity vanishes, and their ability to interact with people is affected. Think “testy” or “grumpy”.

Do you want a burn-out representing you in the sale or purchase of your single largest investment? Do you really want to entrust hundreds of thousands of dollars of your money, you HOME, into the hands of someone who’s so worn out and tired that they are only operating at 20% effectiveness?

Probably not.

Which is why John implemented a mandatory DND (Do Not Disturb) day for all team members, no exceptions. Basically, this is a day off. It’s a day for each team member to recharge their batteries, spend uninterrupted time with their love ones, and generally be human again.

Each team member takes a day off, forwards their calls to another team member, and enjoys some down time. Because of this break, your agent is more relaxed, more alert, and better able to perform on your behalf. We’re sharper, more creative, and more pleasant. Generally better because of it!

A day off. The biggest revolution in real estate this year.
